The composer Manolis Galiatsos was born in Chania of Crete, and moved in Athens when he was a teenager. His professor in the theoretical musical studies was G. A . Papaioannou.His debut album was 'Fos Avgoustou' (Light of August) in 1989.In his new album, 'The wizard's games' (LM036-2, LIBRA MUSIC 2005) Galiatsos collaborates with Dimitris Zervoudakis, Melina Kana, Yiota Nega and Maria Spyropoulou.
