Reflections of potent inspiration and great virtuosity characterize these twelve compositions of Giorgos Maglaras. As he personally states, his goal is to 'enforce musical themes with a contemporary structure, through the diverse and always prevailing forms of the East and the West.' In the hands of Maglaras the violin is a means of expressing the personal attitude towards life, and giving substance through art to the inexpressible. The orchestration of this album has been done by Kora Michaelian (member of NOR DAR).
