| After a long period of silence, Ross Daly once again enters the studio. The album 'SYNAVGIA' includes music that is based on two opposing traditions, the West and the East. This is not a new stance towards the past, but a contemporary musical creation that unwinds the thread of continuity with tradition. The music of Daly (lyra, saz, oud, lute, rabab and kemanche) speaks in a primitive but so very innovative language to the spirit of the listener. He guides the listener through forgotten paths revealing to him the light to a land that is throbbing. The Chemirani Trio (zarb, bendir, udu, and daff) touch with their fingers membrane of their percussion and give beat. Rufus Cappadocia (cello) and Giorgos Symeonidis (ney) add their versions to this mystique liturgy.
