ANASTASIA are a band that was formed eight years ago in Skopje, FYROM.

They play acoustic instruments that are typical for their geographical region as is the kaval (flute), gajda (bagpipe), tapan (drum), and also use modern technology:computers, samplers, and synthesizers.

As a band ANASTASIA have achieved numerous accomplishments for the film industry, theater performances and TV programs.

Before the release of MELOURGIA they wrote the soundtrack for the film by Milcho Manchevski, " Before the Rain".

In 1996 they wrote the music for the theater performance " Bacchanallia" that met great success in Europe.

They recently released their second album "Nocturnal" [LM013-2] and are currently giving live performances all over the world.
