A composer, a songwriter and a fine musician (guitar and oud player), Antonis Apergis was born in Nikaia, Athens in 1963. His footsteps are significant, as he has played music next to some of the greatest artists of Greek contemporary song as Nikos Xithakis, Manolis Lidakis, Eleni Tsaligopoulou, Pandelis Thalassinos, Petros Dourdoumbakis, Christos Tsiamoulis, Melina Kana and Gerasimos Andreatos.He made his entrance in discography with the album "Oud" (FM records) which is a solo oud project. Then a fruitful cooperation started with Kostas Paulidis as Apergis wrote music and lyrics in his album "Vgale ftera kai peta" (Get wings and fly) (FM records). The two artists worked together on Paulidis' next album "Pia gi kai pia patrida" (Which land, which country) (FM records) many of the songs there were written (music and lyrics) by Antonis Apergis. He composes, writes lyrics and orchestrates as well (albums of Dourdoumbakis and Opisthodromiki).

Apergis has been presenting live his music and songs with his group for four years now. "Ikaros" his new album, which is going to be released shortly by LIBRA MUSIC, is Apergis' first instrumental one including a song interpreted by Lizeta Kalimeri.
