ARTO TUNCBOYACIYAN was born in 1957, in Galataria, a town outside Constantinople. He is the youngest child of an Armenian family, with roots from Anatolia.
The family's financial problems were solved, when the elder brother Onno, became a musician. His brothers' influence was significant, and was the reason for Arto to seek a career as a musician also.
His professional career began at the age of 11, by his brothers' side and continued for 27 years.
As a result of his collaboration with his brother, he has worked with numerous important artists and has participated in many concerts and tours.
In 1981, he moves to the USA, with the belief that he will be able to make it as the musician he wants to be, without giving up his ideas and personal ideology.
TEARS OF DIGNITY is his first peronal album, that also features cofounder and NIGHT ARK member, Ara Dinkjian
