By early '98 he found himself spending endless hours of experimentation with an Atari and a friends borrowed keyboard and soon enough he'd be amazed from the world he's moving into.
Soon after the first results were 'Deltasites: 3days EP' and later on 'Spectro: I know you care' Both tracks made in collaboration with DJ L Sega and got released on 'Ntrop recordings'.
The next year the first 'Blend' track was released on Cool Calm and Collected compilation on Rubber records featuring the track 'Lazlo's Caf?'.
By the end of '99 Blend established himself in the Athenian underground, by spinning downtempo, dub and nu funk at clubs and festivals including Solaluna and his own club night 'Dubwise' with partner djLo-fi playing mostly 70s dub and rare funk grooves.
By 2001 Blend was receiving attention from abroad, his tracks would show up on compilations from Shadow records, LTJ Bukem's Cookin' records and Pork recordings while his first Full-length album released from Dsofa recordings in March '01.
Later in '01 Dsofa also released Specro: Setine Town (the album) following the highly acclaimed 'I know u care' 12".
With Echo Warrior, Blend adds the next chapter to the story. Written and produced in Athens, the album is released from Shadow records worldwide except Greece and Cyprus where is available from Dsofa.
