Manolis Lidakis is one of the most important performers in Greece . The large success of his personal albums (three platinum and two gold) is evidence of his popularity.

At the age of nine he began his studies at the Conservatory, Where he studied music, guitar and wind instruments. From 1983 when he released his first personal album, by choosing very carefully each step, his career has been developing rapidly. Some of the best Greek composers as Nikos Xidakis, Yiannis Markopoulos, Yiannis Spanos, Haris and Panos Katsimihas, Orfeas Peridis and Sokratis Malamas, entrust him with their songs.

A very important chapter of his career is his interest in traditional, rebetika and popular Greek songs. At his albums we find new versions of songs by Tsitsanis, Bagianteras, Papaioannou and Hiotis, as well as traditional songs.

Manolis Lidakis has collaborated with LIBRA MUSIC for the album "BAHAR" (LM020-2), by performing the two songs of the album (composer Makis Ablianitis, lyricist Magda Papadaki).

Manolis Lιdαkis collaborated with LIBRA MUSIC in the album "Bahar" (LM020-2), of the composer Makis Ablianitis, where, in lyrics of Magda Papadaki he performs the songs "Astro Kryfo'" (secret star) and "Mi mou arnithis".

In 2004 he collaborated once again with LIBRA MUSIC in the album of Christos Tsiamoulis and Lizeta Kalimeri "Lonely land" (LM033-2). Manolis Lidakis interprets, in music of Tsiamoulis, the songs "Kane kardia mou mia strofi'' (Just turn around my heart) "Psema ki an einai o erotas'' (Even if love is a lie) and "To proto mas fili'' (Our first kiss), a duet with Lizeta Kalimeri.
