featuring fourteen exclusive tracks - released for the first time - with a wide variety of moods and grooves from some of the best electronic acts and artists most of them based in Greece.
Compilation starts with a cover on the 1960's northern soul classic "Night Owl" produced by the southeast London duo Papadoc and continues with a mid-tempo delight by the U.S. Florida based artist Greg Long (Citrona Recordings), things are getting a bit darker when Blend drops his broken dub-funk and then a bit more bright with Paramount (blend + dj lo-fi) remixed by the highly acclaimed Athenian duo Hyplar .
As we move deeper Alma Calma submits his unique brazilian influenced sound and Ubiq is lifting things up with his euphoric and funky drum & bass.
Then, the lo-fi/cubanism on Havanaman by Fidel Son followed by Digital Alkemist's interpretation of downbeat meets Latin and Chariwari's (Leon Sega) mellow guitars and hip-hop beats makes "backroom sessions" very hard to fit in a category, under a specific style or trend.
Authentic tunes, simply good music, driven by instincts. .sounds, directly from the heart and the mind.
Sit Back, and enjoy the music.
