"Izired" for "dsofa recordings" (2001) and "Echo Warrior" released right after from New York's "Shadow records" (2002).
Since 2000 Blend's tracks are included in compilations by some of the most important labels throughout the world such as "Pork recordings", "Good Looking", "Shadow records" and "Stereo Deluxe" to name a few.
"Get your breaks together" is Blend's second release on the "octoberon, urban listening" label, since it is out a few months after "Backroomsessions" (OCM001), the compilation selected by him featuring tracks by Greece's top dj's and productive teams (Digital Alkemist, Konstruct, Hyplar...).
In the overall album we are dealing with twelve new tracks characterized by Blend's personal taste, while at the same time new elements and influences are added.
Funky basslines, creative sampling, acoustic and electronic sounds combined with hip-hop beats and a nujazz funk mood to create an album that despite its diversity manages to stay quite simple and direct. The input of vocalists such as Harry Gee (ex-Rockin Bones), M.C. Yinka (Urban Links) and the soulfull Grady Johnson are some of the elements which combined with Blend's artistry give the album a tremendous momentum.
