Fuat Saka had his first music education from his father who played tanbur. He later had education in arts (painting) in Istanbul, music in France and Germany.
Besides scoring for theatres and films, he gave many solo concerts and made arrangements for Turkish and international artists.
The artist also composed the music of Karadeniz (Black Sea) part of the "Sultans of Dance" show who gained lot of attention.
Fuat Saka has made 14 recordings and his last album Lazutlar III was out in July 2002. Giving a large place to Karadeniz folk songs in his works, he also composed for many well-known poets of Turkey like Ahmet Arif, Enver Gfkie, Nazum Hikmet and Orhan Veli.
