By the age of twenty he has decided to concentrate all his efforts on mastering the clarinet.
At the age of twenty-eight he moves to Athens, where he participates in many recordings of folk and popular music. In addition, he gives numerous concerts and plays for radio and television programs.
In 1986 he records for "Sirius" with Manos Hadjidakis and Ross Daly. In 1987 he is the soloist in the opus of Kyriakos Sfetsas " Lyric Suite for a Small Ensemble" in 1988 at the Heraklion Festival he is the soloist for the Symphonic Orchestra "Alea" of the Boston University (Director Theodoros Anotniou) in the musical composition of Kyriakos Sfetsas "Diplochromia".
In 1991 he plays at the Athens Concert Hall ( Megaron Mousikis) in the cycle " Mousiko Analogio" with David Lynch on Saxophone and Nikos Touliatos on percussion
In 1993 he give his final concert at the Athens concert Hall once again in the cycle "Mousiko Analogio". This time with Ross Daly and Michael's Stavrakakis.
He died on the 28th of June 1993 in his house in Marathonas. Of his three children, Giannis, Tasos and Evstathia, the two boys studied music.
